How should I dress for the retreat?
Most of the women dress casually and comfortably, but you are welcome to dress however you feel comfortable. If you enjoy dressing up, then do it.
Do I need to bring a towel?
No. Towels and washcloths are supplied in each room and there are also towels available in the swimming pool room for those who swim.
Do I need to bring bedding?
The retreat center provides sheets, blankets, & pillows, but I have seen women bring their own pillow or favorite blanket for comfort.
What should I plan on bringing?
Must I leave the building?
The only time you need to leave the building after you get there is when it's time to leave on Sunday, but many of the women, depending on the weather, like to walk around the grounds during their free time. There are many trails and pathways throughout the large, beautiful property.
What should I leave at home?
Glad you asked! Please leave your perfumes & scented lotions at home to accommodate our ladies with chemical sensitivity.
Will we have any free time during the weekend?
Yes - there is built-in free time Saturday afternoon, as well as Friday & Saturday evenings. There will be optional activities and workshops available during that time, but you may choose to use that time however you please. It’s a no-pressure environment.
